If you cross the Ohio River on U.S. 41, repairs on the Twin Bridges' southbound span are scheduled to start Monday. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is scheduled to begin the work and expects it to run all week. Crews will replace damaged rocker bearings and repair a structural support beam.
The aim is to reopen all four lanes well before Thanksgiving. 14news.com reported Oct. 28 that materials were still being fabricated, and the schedule depended on confirming deliveries.
